Support for Remote Workers

This is a pre-season post regarding the goal of the upcoming season for Plant Your Seeds of Transformation, which is to support remote workers, who often do not receive the same level of support that in-office workers get due to their proximity to leaders and resources.

The original article on this topic is over on my main business blog at LeadLikeaQueen.com. I shared there about this topic of remote work and how hard and scary it can be, but also about how it can be rewarding. I also am taking a survey over there so that I can understand what you would like to learn about remote work, if you’re a person seeking to possibly shift into the remote work world. If you’d like to read that article and take the survey, use the button below to go there.

That business blog also contains other articles on similar topics about remote work, including my testimonial of working as an independent LiveOps agent supporting patients and customers who are calling for help with the clients’ products and services. If you’re curious, use the survey at the link above to let me know what you’d like for me to share during upcoming season 5 of the Plant Your Seeds of Transformation podcast.

I also have a mentorship program that I use to support remote workers and provide them with ongoing support from me, but also within a community of like-minded people. I wrote about that in a previous article, so definitely have a look if this interests you, also.

As I prepare for season 5, I look forward to hearing your feedback. Thank you for taking time to look at this pre-season episode of the Plant Your Seeds of Transformation podcast.

Coach Donna Marie Johnson is the host. Lead Like A Queen Coaching and Consulting is the producer. If you’re interested in being a guest, click here.

Supportive Community for Remote Workers

If want to join an emerging community that supports remote workers, read on. If you’re stuck in limbo, distracted, and not progressing in your remote work goals, get plugged in with a supportive community of people who can relate to you. Sometimes, just being able to share with a non-judgmental group is enough to motivate you to keep going. However, in an unstructured setting, the group could also become a distraction, so find a more structured, moderated group that can help you focus and get your work done. Where could you find a group like that? I am so glad you asked.

If you join my Patreon, you can access mentorship program and participate in online coworking events. You will also have access to a private social networking area to chat with one another about your coworking goals, which helps you stay accountable to get your work done. Please join my Patreon community with a free trial to learn more. With the free trial, you’ll have access to the content before you become an official member so that you can see if this emerging community has value to support you in your remote work journey.

Also, today I am doing a private live stream as a first test coworking event. You will be able to use that recorded live stream and pretend you’re live with me, and see if it helps you to get your work done. If you need/want support in your remote work journey, come on over and check out the Patreon for free today so you can see the schedule of upcoming events to join us live next time. Use the button or link to grab your free trial in our Patreon Community for Plant Your Seeds of Transformation.

Whether or not you join my community, I hope you find a community you can plug into where you feel supported and more motivated as you continue your remote work journey.

Free Download for Remote Workers

[UPDATE] I made you a promise, then I went into 6 months of burnout, and I did not keep my promise. I was in survival mode, and was not able to pour out of an empty cup. If you’d like to know more about what happened to me and what I am doing now, check out my new blog at this link:

So for 2024, I am going to be providing more podcast content that’s helpful for remote workers. If you are one, or aspiring to be one, you can download a free business tips document on my business blog over at LeadLikeAQueen.com. The purpose of the free downloadable guide is to show support for remote workers who often do not get as much support as in-office workers. AND I also published a new journal called Transformation Journal for Remote Workers. And I hope to use this podcast to provide more support for remote workers, also.

If you would like to give me input about what you’d like to hear on the upcoming season 5 of Plant Your Seeds of Transformation, click here to send me a message. I am very curious to know what you’d like to hear about that would help you in your transformation journey.

I believe that the best thing for the podcast this year is to focus on what’s most top of mind for me at this time. Right now, what’s top of mind is my work as a remote patient support agent for a healthcare-oriented company. Many people have been curious to ask me about my work, but I have not been sharing very much because I was still getting settled into it. I did share testimonials about working as an independent LiveOps agent on my main business blog, but haven’t shared much on the podcast, yet. So that’s definitely one of the topics I would like to cover this year.

I do not have a start date for the new season, yet, and I plan to share that date sometime this summer. I have been using the earlier months of the year to work on my self-care and work goals. I’ve also been spending some time learning ways I may be able to improve the podcast. So, my hope is that when season 5 kicks off, that it will bring you even more value than the 20 episodes that I did in season 4.

Thanks for reading. I appreciate you paying attention to this podcast. I hope you’re having a good start to your spring, if you’re here in the continental USA.
